Site Supervisor

Bancon Homes have an opening for a Site Supervisor with a joinery background to join our site team at Strathaven. It is a great opportunity for someone to develop within the role with a progression route to Assistant Site Manger. You will work closely with the Site Manager ensuring the safe and efficient running of a busy site.

Role:

• Working with subcontractors and direct labour to maintain company standards.
• Review and planning of works including organising sub-contractors to complete quality and assurance works to the standards required.
• Becoming an integrated part of the site management team to ensure consistent work patterns are met on site.
• Working to have all Key Stage Inspections checked for the business requirements and NHBC, building control site inspections.
• Hands on working on tools where required to get minor chargeable works done to ensure programmes are met.
• Ensuring contractors are completing QA snagging to acceptable standard and back checking of the works.
• Always maintain company health and safety policies.

Qualifications and experience:

• Preferable qualifications: SMSTS, First Aid at Work, Managerial CSCS Card, Scaffold Awareness, and Temporary Works Supervisor
• Previous construction site experience is essential
• Up to date relevant knowledge of health and safety legislation
• Current and valid UK driving licence
