Deeside Timberframe, one of the UK’s leading timberframe suppliers, have a great opportunity for an experienced Forklift Driver / Foreman at their manufacturing facility in Throsk, Stirling.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe operation of a combi-lift / counterbalance forklift and managing incoming and outgoing goods for the yard.
Responsibilities:
- Assembling timber packs and ironmongery pallets for site delivery
- Transporting raw materials to production
- Loading of finished products for site delivery
- Marking/labelling of materials
- Maintaining yard organisation
- Overseeing and supervising all yard activities including the unloading of raw materials and their respective storage
- Adhere to and manage all health and safety requirements in the yard
Required:
- Demonstrable forklift experience
- Valid licence for combi-lift / counterbalance forklift
- Previous timber material experience is preferred
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong communication skills
- Comfortable with manual handling including lengths of timber and sheets of boarding
