Bancon Homes is delighted to announce that we have been named finalists in three prestigious categories at this year’s Trades Awards, underscoring our dedication to excellence in homebuilding. This acknowledgment showcases the hard work and commitment of our team in building outstanding new communities for our customers.
Site Manager of The Year – Colin Cosgrove
Colin has been employed by Bancon Homes for over 12 years. After eight years as a Joiner, he was promoted to Assistant Site Manager and just two years later was promoted to Site Manager. Colin was recognised and promoted due to his dedication, hardworking nature and positive work ethic.
During his time as Site Manager, Colin has single-handedly managed our flagship Lochside of Leys luxury development in Banchory and has been responsible for the completion of 140 units.
Colin’s site has outperformed all others based on our HSQE inspections and has become one of our most impressive and successful sites.
Nominating Colin for Site Manager of the year allows us to recognise someone who we truly believe is excelling in this highly responsible position, showing non-stop commitment in his development and loyalty to the company.
Outstanding Customer Service
For the past seven years Bancon Homes has won one of the building industry’s highest accolades for customer service, The In-House Gold Award for Customer Satisfaction.
The awards are run by specialist market research company, In-house Research who are an accredited supplier to the New Homes Quality Board. In 2023 an incredible 100% of our customers surveyed said they would recommend the company to their, friends, family and colleagues.
Construction Project of the Year – Cloverhill
Located between Bridge of Don and Aberdeen beach, the vision for Cloverhill is to create a new sustainable and transformative social housing community, providing high-quality, energy-efficient homes and healthy lifestyle opportunities for residents, businesses and the community.
In 2021 Bancon were awarded the main contractor contract by Aberdeen City Council to deliver 536 homes, together with three retail units and a community hall, two parks, a 3G sports pitch and changing room, allocated space for a Men’s Shed and allotments, and all associated roads, footpaths, street lighting and street furniture.
